I stumbled upon this place a month ago. Several of my neighbors raved about it. It is a no frills El Salvadorian Taquieria. Imagine a Mom and Pop shop. It is a hole in the wall joint. It is very clean in there and family run. I love their chips and verde salsa. They make papusas, flautas, nachos, burritos, and many more delicious items. I eat there twice a week. Their ingredients seem so fresh. They make guacamole when you order it.

The portions are big enough to fill you up. The prices are also fair and cheap in regards to the menu. They do not have a high mark-up. I am surprised at how clean the place is, considering the fact that they work so hard. It opens at 7a.m. and closes at 5pm Mon- Sat. There is also one in Friendswood.  The only drawback is that only 1 of the ladies speaks decent English. Sometimes they have to go get her if someone else is not understanding a customer. I just resort back to my Spanish, which I rarely use anymore.

Horrible, HORRIBLE quality. Barbacoa was not fresh and potatoes weren't even fried. The vegetables inside omelette were raw and not even fried.

OMG!  Best Mexican food in this area!  Went tonight and had tacos al carbon --fresh homemade tortillas, delicious meat, hot sauce to die for!!  Decent rice &beans. Companion had chicken quesadilla.  Tasty chicken, yummy white queso and homemade tortillas.  Really good.  The only thing I didn't like were the Cokes in plastic bottles.  But wow!!!  Can't wait to try breakfast tacos!!!

Love this place for breakfast. Always fresh and always delicious. The place itself is ok, not really a beautiful dine in spot but I don't think they intend it to be. It's more of a call-in, pick up, eat at home type of spot. They do have seating though if you choose to eat there, it's just a very small and simple setting. The food is awesome though and one of my go-to's for breakfast when I don't feel like cooking. I call it in, go pick up, and hubby and I are happy every time. It's a "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of spot, try it!!

Sorry this is not a hidden gem as I hoped, picking break tacos might work but that is all. I had the Mexican Migas and was borderline ok. Trust me if you are a Foodie, then stick to Denny's for breakfast.
